Reduce the Intake of Heat Giving Food Items

Instead of eating onions, garlic, spinach and beetroot incorporate food items like watermelons, coconut water, cucumbers, fennel seeds. These provide a cooling effect on the body.

Opt for Fresh Fruit Juices

Summers make you feel thirsty very often.

So, instead of grabbing a cold drink which has a lot of extra calories and preservatives go for fresh fruit juices.

Limit your Strenuous Activity

Try to cut back on strenuous activities as they raise your core temperature. Increase in body temperature can cause a lot of sweating which in turn leads to dehydration and loss of electrolytes from the body.

Maintain Good Hygiene

Good hygiene is the key to good physical health. Maintain your hygiene and summers will be good for you.
