COVID-19 India: 56,282 New Cases, 904 Deaths in 24 Hours

In the last 24 hours, 56282 new coronavirus cases have been reported in India. At the same time, 904 people have died. The number of COVID cases in the country has gone up to 19,64,537.

There are 595501 active cases and 1328337 patients have recovered and have been discharged. So far, more than 40 thousand people have died in the country.

In Maharashtra, 4,68,265 cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed. Of these, 3,05,521 people have recovered and have been discharged, while 16,476 people have lost their lives.

At the same time, 2,73,460 cases have been confirmed in Tamil Nadu, 2,14,815 people have recovered and have been discharged, and 4461 patients have died.

1,40,232 cases have been confirmed in Delhi, 1,26,116 people have recovered and have been discharged and 4044 patients have died.

According to Johns Hopkins University, the death toll from the virus has reached 707,666 worldwide and the number of cases now is 18,810,392.

America has the highest number of coronavirus cases in the world. There are 4,823,797 confirmed cases of COVID-19 while 158,249 people have died.
