FIT Quiz: How Can You Protect Yourself Against Swine Flu?
What do you need to know about the swine flu?
In 2009, the world saw an outbreak of a scale as big that it was labeled a ‘pandemic’ by the World Health Organisation. With symptoms that may be called ‘common’, the risk and intensity of the infection could easily have been undermined.
In 2018, 14,992 people were infected. In 2017, the virus hit 38,811and killed 2,270. 2016 and 2015 saw 1786 and 42592 cases respectively.
The number of cases and deaths in the previous few years — is enough to make it clear that awareness is key.
